Schloss Celle (Celle Castle)

Celle was the residence of the Dukes of Brunswick and Lüneburg from 1378. Several of the Mad Dukes of Brunswick and Lüneburg were based in the here when it was referred to as the Duke's Palace.
The modern castle is largely the product of baroque renovations by Duke George William from 1670, however much of the original structure remains.
